Robot Submersible Pumps

Robot has designed their solid-handling and slurry pumps for the most demanding applications. The vortex impeller design on both types allows for the passing of large solids and the hard-metal construction on the slurry pumps ensures long life.

The Robot wear resistant submersible vortex pumps are designed for the continuous transport of highly abrasive solids. During many years they have proved to be cost effective and most reliable under most extreme working conditions. The natural low wear figures as experienced in vortex pumps and the limited effect of wear on the pump’s output in combination with the absence of wear rings that could impair performance leads to unmatched long term constant high performance with minimal downtime for maintenance. The Robot RD pumps offer low weight as the selection of the superior Ni Hard 4 wear resistant material does not demand low operating speeds and additionally sacrificing material to achieve long life between service intervals. Optionally, many pumps can be fitted with an agitator that further increases the density of the pumped mixture. For the most severe and rough conditions the special dredge version features cable and shaft seal replacement without actually opening the hermetically sealed motor

SVEDALA HEAVY DUTY SLURRY PUMP

The Svedala Pumps are designed specifically for abrasive slurries and feature robust design with ease of maintenance

The Svedala RV pump range of totally submersible pumps has been designed for the most difficult pumping applications where traditional drainage pumps are not enough. With discharges variable from 50 mm to 250 mm, installed powers from 6, 0 kW. To 100 kW. Semi-Open impellers and pump casings with spray holes, closed impellers and casing for maximum performance and high heads and Vortex Impellers for non-clog pumping of fibrous solids. With casing materials of MetaChrome (Steel with 25% chromium for hardness >600HBN) and elastomeric liner materials, there is nothing that these beasts cannot do.

STANCOR Slurry Pumps is a leading designer and manufacturer of electric submersible pumps and controls. Stancor is qualified to provide both standard and customized systems to meet virtually any specification.

Therefore, no delays waiting for parts to arrive. American made means quality made. The vortex impeller leaves a wide unobstructed passage for the volute carrying large solids and abrasives out through the discharge. Long fibrous material is pumped without risk of blockage. In addition, the absence of narrow clearances eliminates blockage problems. The P-50 CSSE pump comes in an all stainless steel version (316 ss); O-rings are Viton; mechanical seals are silicon carbide vs. silicon carbide. This version is also approved by MSHA for use in mines.
